We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Sales and Marketing to join our thriving construction company. You will be responsible for driving our sales and marketing strategy, managing our sales team, and building lasting relationships with our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales and marketing professional with a strong background in the construction or trades industry to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities
As the Permanent Director of Sales and Marketing, you will :
1. Lead, manage and motivate the sales team to achieve set sales targets and KPIs.
2. Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
4. Utilize strong CRM experience to maintain and expand customer database and to manage and track sales pipeline.
5. Prepare accurate sales forecasting reports and ensure they match up with company's objectives and market trends.
6. Define and track sales KPIs, providing regular reports to the executive team.
7. Collaborate with other team members to align our internal strategy with market trends and competitors.
8. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
9. Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.
10. Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need :
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or trades industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and leading sales teams to achieve sales targets.
3. Strong CRM experience and proficiency in managing and directing sales strategies.
4. Excellent knowledge of data analysis, budgeting, and business planning.
5. A solid understanding of the construction industry and market dynamics.
6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
7. Proficiency in setting, tracking, and achieving sales KPIs.
8. An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
9. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
10. Strong decision-making abilities and a customer-focused approach.
11. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
