Subcontracts Management Specialist I

As a Subcontracts Management Specialist I, you'll support the Supply Management organization through Category, Agreement, and Performance Management of our suppliers. By assisting in the development of subcontract specifications and statements of work for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontracted assemblies and systems, you'll help guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new suppliers, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll lead, manage, and administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M), and will participate and help lead minor negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.
Your primary role is to ensure supplier performance to SNC and its missions : meeting supplier delivery, quality, service, cost and technical requirements through the entire subcontract lifecycle.
You may support the identification and development of current and new suppliers to support Category goals, as well as monitoring, measuring and reporting supplier(s) progress. It will be important to contract appropriately, ensuring SNC protection and obligating suppliers to clearly specified requirements. You are responsible for what you buy, from whom and the corresponding results.
As a Subcontract Management Specialist, you will work to reduce the cost and increase the value of using the preferred SNC supply base over time. You are the leader of a given subcontract, and you represent your internal teammates who have communicated this requirement.

This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs. Estimated Starting Salary Range : $59,000.00 - $77,541.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education / training / certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
