In this role youll be entrusted with the core responsibilities of a Registered Respiratory Therapist : evaluating patients respiratory status initiating and monitoring therapies such as nebulization bronchodilators suctioning and aerosolized medications; managing ventilator support weaning protocols and CPAP / BiPAP therapy where appropriate; performing arterial blood gas collection and interpretation to guide treatment decisions; titrating oxygen delivery to target saturations; educating patients and families about treatment plans and home care considerations; and collaborating closely with physicians nurses and respiratory care teams to optimize outcomes.
