Join a high-demand primary care outpatient clinic as a Locum Tenens physician in the scenic setting of Sylva, NC. You will work alongside a dedicated team, including two physicians and a nurse practitioner, providing essential care to adult patients. This assignment includes daytime hours from Monday through Friday, with no call responsibilities.

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care in an outpatient setting, focusing on internal medicine or family medicine.
  • Manage patient encounters, seeing 15-20 patients per shift.
  • Collaborate with the existing medical team to maintain high standards of care.
  • Ensure all documentation and patient records are maintained accurately.

    • Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Complete all Employee Health Requirements prior to orientation.
  • Eligibility for temporary privileges upon meeting facility requirements.

    • Working Hours

  • Monday through Friday
  • Work hours are from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, capped at 40 hours per week.
  • Lunch break provided midday.

    • Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in internal or family medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
