The Role

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain advanced custom solutions on the Salesforce Platform, specifically in the Non-Profit Cloud environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions that enhance our CRM capabilities. This role requires strong technical proficiency in Salesforce development tools, a deep understanding of platform capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions. This position is open only to candidates currently located in San Antonio, T X area . Applications from outside the San Antonio area will not be considered.

What You’ll Do

Solution Development & Customization

  • Develop, customize, and extend Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and the Salesforce Lightning Framework.
  • Implement low-code and pro-code solutions to support business workflows and user needs.
  • Experience Using Xappex XL-Data Loader is a plus.

Integration & APIs

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST / SOAP APIs and middleware platforms where needed.
  • Knowledge and experience using BOOMI is a plus.
  • Testing & Deployment

  • Create and execute robust unit tests; maintain deployment pipelines and support sandbox testing, code reviews, and production deployments.
  • Able to write summarized comments to support all apex triggers and classes.
  • Knowledge and experience using Copado is a plus.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to analyze requirements and recommend technical solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications, release notes, and user guides.
  • Performance, Compliance & Best Practices

  • Follow Salesforce best practices for development, security, and performance optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with platform enhancements and recommend process improvements.
  • Ability to keep and obtain certifications as needed and directed.

  • Proficiency & knowledge regarding Apex, MYSQL, Native, JavaScript, & VisualForce
  • The capability of solving complex issues related to high-level applications and software.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration fundamentals (objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Experience with source control and versioning tools best practice.
  • Integrations involving REST and SOAP based architectures.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a leader in the development end of the environment.
  • Highly capable of managing projects with excellent efficiency.
  • Able to work in a Hybrid Environment.
  • Able to travel occasionally for training.
  • Required Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience developing on the Salesforce Platform with Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Experience with CI / CD, DevOps tools, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and broader integration patterns. .Net experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with Experience Cloud, Sales & Service Clouds, and Non-Profit Cloud.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :

  • Platform Developer I
  • Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect & System Architect. Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect & Agent force Specialist would be a bonus.
