Job Title : Policy Documentation Specialist
Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Policy Documentation Specialist to help improve and standardize IT and information security policy documentation. This role focuses on organizing, refining, and streamlining existing documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of future maintenance.
Key Responsibilities :
Review and organize existing policy documents for consistency and clarity.
Standardize naming conventions and document structure.
Consolidate edits and revisions into clean, up-to-date versions.
Remove outdated comments and tracked changes.
Develop a sustainable, user-friendly system for tracking future revisions and updates.
Reword or refine policy language to improve clarity and readability.
Required Qualifications :
Experience in documentation or policy development, particularly in IT, information security, or cybersecurity.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Familiarity with revision control best practices.
Proficiency with document editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, SharePoint).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple documents and versions.
Skill in rephrasing or rewriting technical content for clarity.
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity standards, or compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Experience with documentation platforms or version control systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
