The Customer Service Representative will interact with the companys customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. The position takes ownership of customer issues and provides complete end-to-end issue resolution by utilizing the resources available.
Pay starts at $18 per hour. For a more seasoned candidate pay could increase. Must be able to work either 2nd shift 2 : 50pm to 10 : 50pm or 3rd shift 10 : 50pm to 6 : 50am. There is also .75 shift diff for 3rd shift & .50 shift diff for 2nd shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Must be able to answer 50 to 150 calls per shift.
Must be able to take calls involving fire alarms police fire and EMS.
Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representatives knowledge forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve the callers problems and issues.
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries complaints or comments.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Must be able to work one of the following shifts. 2nd shift : 2 : 50pm to 10 : 50pm or 3rd shift : 10 : 50pm to 6 : 50am.
Education / Qualification :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service experience required.
Excellent communication skills including active listening.
Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
Must have a minimum of six months experience in a customer service industry.
Must have a clean background.
Other Duties :
Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
