Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district is seeking a Substitute Teacher Aide to provide temporary classroom support in a Special Education setting. Responsibilities include assisting teachers with instruction, supporting students individual learning needs, and maintaining a structured, safe classroom environment. Candidates must have prior Special Education experience, complete Justice Center clearance, and be available for an 8 : 30 AM start.

Responsibilities :

Support classroom instruction and help implement IEP goals

Provide individualized assistance to students, including behavioral and academic support

Monitor student behavior and progress, reporting to lead teachers

Assist with classroom organization and preparation of materials

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Previous experience in a Special Education classroom or school

Ability to adapt to new classroom environments quickly

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Justice Center clearance completed before starting

Available to begin at 8 : 30 AM
