As a Site Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in protecting lives and property by managing and leading the security team and assisting the client in various capacities. This physically demanding and rewarding position requires critical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure.
The Site Security Manager – position reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations.
Essential Job Functions :
- Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures
- Observe and report all suspicious activity
- Follow the Emergency Action and Communication Plans and all Standard Operating Procedures for emergencies
- Completes incident reports as required
- Access control administrator
- Act as the incident commander in collaboration with CSEM Security Management
- Coordinate new hire interviews
- Creates and revises security policies and procedures
- Develop staff in technical and professional skills
- Ensure all contracted hours of coverage are met
- Ensure that all regulatory compliance and records are available to CSEM
- Evaluate employee performance and maintain employee files
- Evaluate the overall performance of the site. Propose changes / improvements to Management as needed
- Liaison between Security Management and Contractor
- Oversee all security operations and emergency preparedness
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the conduct of emergency preparedness exercises or drills
- Oversee required training for officers
- Oversee security system integrity, report problems to CSEM Security Management
- Oversees all Security staff
- Participate in site and community events and training that supports facility initiatives
- Prepare post orders and instructions for special events
- Maintain regulatory reporting & compliance – any and all state or federal requirements
- Resolves all personnel issues
- Responsible for overall site operations
- Liaison with EMS, police, and fire personnel
- Confirm dissemination of information to all shifts
- Provide technical and professional skills development material for assigned staff
- Assists in the annual CSEM Global Risk Assessment and ISO Audits
- Manage Emergency Operations – fire, medical, weather, Haz-Mat response
- Manages employee testing when appropriate
- Inspects posts, personnel, vehicles and equipment for compliance with security policies
- Scheduling work shifts
- Attends meeting as requested by CSEM Security Management
- Completes Operations Projects as requested by CSEM Security Management
- Follow escalation matrix for incident escalation to CSEM and / or Site Leadership
Requirements :
At least five (5) years' experience in an administrative and supervisory capacityAt least five (5) years' experience in either Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Fire Service, or Emergency ManagementHave a working knowledge of Incident Command and the National Incident Management System (NIMS)Ability to thoroughly know NASEM's security and / or fire suppression SOPs. Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of all Emergency Response Plans and Procedures and lead response as required within 30 days of hireBe available to respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in the event of an emergency or other situation as directed by NASEM or leadershipBe able to effectively communicate orally and in writing with senior leadership. Be able to effectively maintain liaison with local police, fire, and EMS officialsActively support the team during incidents in the fieldIntermediate to Advanced computer skillsValid State of Tennessee security license, or ability to obtain within 2 weeksPreferred Requirements :
Industrial security service experience in an administrative and supervisory capacityKnowledge of the use of Lenel access control and Perspective report writing systemsKnowledge and experience utilizing WinTeam systemsIntermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Forms and ExcelBenefits :
