• Work in a fast-paced observation unit environment with 25 beds
• Patient ratios : 4 : 1 during day shifts and 5 : 1 during night shifts
• Work with brand new equipment and technology including Alaris Pumps, tele-tracking, Imobile Communication, B450 Monitors, and Pyxis
• Documentation performed using Meditech system
• Full-time schedule requires 36 hours per week and every 3rd weekend
• Travelers / Contract staff work 36 hours and every other weekend
• Float on a rotating system to meet hospital needs
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH, and EKG rhythm certification
• Preferred experience in neuro and cardiac care
• Perform procedures including glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, and peritoneal dialysis
• Triage acute care patients and identify life-threatening rhythms
• Dress code : Black scrubs required with closed-toe shoes (no crocs)
• Work in a newly built unit with energetic and friendly team environment
