Role Overview : The Manager of Laboratory is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospitals laboratory services ensuring accurate efficient and regulatory-compliant diagnostic testing to support optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage clinical laboratory operations across multiple testing disciplines.

Ensure compliance with CAP CLIA and applicable state regulations.

Collaborate closely with pathologists and clinical teams to support diagnostic accuracy and care delivery.

Oversee staffing scheduling budgeting and performance management.

Lead quality assurance process improvement and accreditation readiness initiatives.

Qualifications :

Active Florida Laboratory License (required)

Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in an acute care laboratory setting

Bachelors degree required
