This facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission accredited. Services provided include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. The facility is located approximately 45 miles from Raleigh and 2 hours from the coast. It is also 1 hour from major universities. The facility is a 15-minute drive from a nearby lake. It features a historic stadium. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Unit Information : The Emergency Department has a total of 26 beds. Patient ratios are flexible, typically ranging from 1 : 4-5, depending on acuity. Standard equipment used includes GE Monitors and general Emergency Department tools. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech. The patient population includes all age groups. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. Preferred experience includes the management of respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis, and hypertension. An Associate's degree in Nursing is required. Scrub color is not specified; any scrubs are acceptable. The role does not require floating to other units.
