Position Overview

As our Tax Accountant, it is your responsibility to prepare tax returns for our business and individual clients and consult with our clients for tax advice and tax planning services. To succeed in this role, you should show interest in following changes to tax regulations and laws. Excellent time management skills are essential, as you'll have to ensure our company meets tight deadlines. Ultimately, you should be able to recommend tax strategies that comply with laws and promote our company's financial well-being.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, including federal, state and local tax returns, tax planning, estimated payments and extensions
• Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership, and individual tax services
• Devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
• Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
• Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
• Seek and provide solutions for client's problem areas
