Automotive Technician – Kia of Lincoln

Summary

Kia of Lincoln is growing and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated  Automotive Technician to join our team! You’ll start at our current location and move with us to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility on the south side of town in 2026 . If you’re passionate about quality work, teamwork, and delivering top-notch customer service, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive issues efficiently and accurately across various Kia models and other makes.

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments.

Use diagnostic equipment and hand / power tools safely and effectively.

Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.

Work closely with service advisors to ensure clear, accurate communication with customers.

Stay up to date on the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.

Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scanners, and repair software.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

ASE Certification is a plus (we’ll help you work toward certification if you’re not there yet!).

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed

Experience : 1+ year in automotive service (preferred)

Location : Lincoln, NE (must be able to commute or relocate)
