Job Title : Tool Room Technician

Reports To : Tool Room Supervisor

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $20-25 / HR

Benefits : Medical, Dental, AD&D

Job Summary

The Tool Room Technician supports Tool Room operations by assisting with mold and tool preparation, cleaning, organizing, and performing basic maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals seeking to gain experience and grow within the tool and die field.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Tool & Die Makers with mold / tool preparation and teardown.
• Perform basic polishing, cleaning, and assembly of mold parts.
• Organize and maintain tooling inventory and storage areas.
• Retrieve and return tools as requested by machinists or production staff.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines (e.g., cleaning, oiling).
• Label, package, and track tool components for repair or replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols when working with production tooling.
• Wear proper PPE and comply with all safety policies.
