Job descriptionCan sign for 36 or 48 hours per week RN / BH 15300 Ratios : 1 : 6 Years of experience REQ : 1 First-timers accepted : (Y / N) Yes Weekend REQ : Every other Certs REQ : BLS, CPI Skills REQ : Geriatric, Inpatient, Locked Unit, Medical / Psych, Substance use / Chemical Dependency, Medication Administration (PO, RECTAL, IM, IV, SC, etc), Starting and maintaining IVs, Blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter insertion / maintenance Is on-call REQ? (Y / N) No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Within service line to all BH units Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y / N) No Locals accepted : (Y / N) No, 75 mile radius Pending License accepted : (Y / N) Yes RTO Restrictions : No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours : 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned Special Requirements : Epic, medical, and Psych experience required Adult Psychiatric population and geriatric (18 years or older), some patients with co-morbid medical conditions that require med-surg approach. When floating to other BH units- Patient is older adult and adult population, some patients with medical co-morbidities and mobility issues. Some diagnoses include dementia, depression, Parkinson's Disease, bipolar disorder, or anxiety. Some patients require pre-op prep for ECT IV start Presence in Milieu Restraint application Will work as charge as needed Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable) : Magnet & Teaching Hospital / Level I Trauma Center Total Staffed Beds : 1259 Scrub Color : Navy Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Monthly parking passes available.
