Warehouse Forklift

Job Title : Warehouse Forklift Operator

Location : Kentwood, MI

Pay :  $18-20 / hr

Shift : 1st and 2nd shift available

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse while following all safety protocols and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate sit-down and / or stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment

Load and unload trucks, move products to designated storage areas

Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment

Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues

Maintain accurate inventory records and complete necessary documentation

Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual material handling

Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures

Requirements :

Previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse or industrial setting required

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain if needed)

Strong attention to safety and detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Dependable with a strong attendance record

Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature, noise)

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems

Ability to operate multiple types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, reach truck, pallet jack)
