Nurse Practitioner Veteran Disability Evaluations

We re seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Aberdeen, SD to provide disability examinations that help Veterans access the VA benefits they have earned. This is a meaningful role where you ll give back to those who have served, while enjoying a balanced schedule and supportive environment.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Part-time, 2 days a week, can be Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
  • Hours : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Workload : 3 5 Veteran assessments daily
  • Compensation : $500 per day; regardless of whether you are scheduled
  • No Treatment Required : No prescribing, diagnosing, or ongoing patient care
  • Assessment experience a plus, but not required
  • Active, unrestricted state license required

Role Responsibilities :

  • Review and interpret each Veteran s summarized medical history
  • Conduct structured compensation and pension assessments
  • Submit electronic exam records within 24 hours of completion
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality evaluations that directly support Veterans benefit claims
