DHL has an immediate opening for a Systems Support Engineer. This role supports the applications, systems and users associated with DHL's Automated Sort Facilities. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise with respect to leading-edge IT auto sort technologies and driving problem resolution with technically complex software& integration solution in a time critical environment The role also requires support of desktop, printers, phones, network hardware, scales in a warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as a Subject matter for IT Desktop Support, supporting business users.
  • Regional
  • Application support for DHL global auto sort systems, including SATS, Tier2, SCADA
  • Escalation and problem recovery management with application vendors / ITS / RACC support
  • Support site deployment activities when needed.
  • Support the IT system deployment process as and when required
  • Desktop Support of equipment and users within our hub / gateway and aviation operations

Qualifications - Internal

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Total of 3 to 5 years' work experience in IT.
  • Desktop support experience
  • Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive, fast paced, demanding environment
  • At least 3 years working experience in technologies relevant to the role
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a warehouse environment with Climbing, lifting, bending.
  • Others : passion for technology; good communicator, team player, positive and can-do attitude
  • Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or IT Technologies field preferred.
