Salary Range : $370.00 per credit

Relocation reimbursement or signing bonus : No

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly one-on-one applied low brass instruction to music majors, minors, and non-majors.
  • Prepare students for juries, recitals, ensemble performances, and other performance opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with students regarding progress, goals, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with ensemble directors and other faculty to support student performance within the department.
  • Submit grades according to established deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Music Field
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
  • Evidence of the ability to use effective classroom strategies and pedagogies to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.

  • In-Office Presence - Ability to work on-site in typical office setting and participate in in-person meetings with colleagues : 5 days / week
