Responsibilities

Provide weekly one-on-one applied low brass instruction to music majors, minors, and non-majors.
Prepare students for juries, recitals, ensemble performances, and other performance opportunities.
Maintain regular communication with students regarding progress, goals, and expectations.
Collaborate with ensemble directors and other faculty to support student performance within the department.
Submit grades according to established deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a Music Field

Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including the ability to effectively respond to the academic needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.

Evidence of the ability to use effective classroom strategies and pedagogies to advance equity, inclusion, and belonging.

In-Office Presence - Ability to work on-site in typical office setting and participate in in-person meetings with colleagues : 5 days / week
