Job description5+ years of Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician experience Ability to follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair Must have a valid EPA Card and TDLR Must be able to pass a drug screen Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record Stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth Ability to competently use a variety of gauges, meters, measuring instruments Ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and the customer. This position requires driving on company time for company related tasks. Commercial HVAC Technician
Way Mechanical is one of the nation’s largest and most experienced mechanical contractors. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design build / design assist, pre-construction, commissioning, building information modeling, and quality control. We are currently seeking a Service HVAC Chiller Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities :
- Diagnoses HVAC, refrigeration, and performance through observation, testing, and setup
- Ability to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Complete electronic documentation of service-related tasks, materials, and labor hours
- Be able to explain the service charges and work performed to the satisfaction of our customers
- Maintain inventory stock on the service vehicle
- Reconcile work order documents, vendor packing slips, and weekly time sheets for supervisor review
