Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Perform CT and X-Ray examinations using proper technical factors

    • \n

  • Evaluate each film for proper exposure and positioning

    • \n

  • Schedule examinations and properly instruct patients on exam preparations

    • \n

  • Set up and organize rooms for radiographic procedures

    • \n

  • Use independent judgment and technical skills to produce optimal radiography for diagnosis and treatment

    • \n

  • Work independently and make decisions in emergency situations

    • \n

  • Operate medical equipment with manual dexterity

    • \n

  • Lift and move patients with or without assistance and maneuver equipment 20 pounds or greater

    • \n

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively with employees, physicians, patients, and families

    • \n

  • Provide quality patient care with sensitivity to patient and co-worker needs

    • \n

  • Demonstrate flexibility to work in continually changing conditions

    • \n

  • Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager

    • \n

  • Graduate with ARRT Registry required

    • \n

  • Position requires visual and hearing acuity to receive patient feedback

    • \n

  • Physical demands include periods of stooping, standing, bending, and moderate lifting
