Construction Project Manager TI / Fit Out

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager responsible for overseeing innovative tenant improvement and interior fit-out real estate construction projects for key clients.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of taking initiative and driving activities with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include :

• Managing stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyzing, tracking, and effectively managing critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
• Verifying that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized.
• Ensuring application of best practice on all projects.
• Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required.
• Monitoring the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly.
• Managing the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Managing the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecasting and updating key project milestones.
• Managing and monitoring local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
• Providing technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders.
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
• Providing expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Client management assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
• Strategic thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectives.
• Knowledge management ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured.
• Process improvement Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
• Identify business development opportunities with both existing and new clients, including potential cross-selling opportunities.
• Creation and oversight of construction / project schedules.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications :

The salary range for this full-time role is $75K-$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
