The Shipping & Packaging Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the packaging and shipping process, ensuring the products are securely packaged, accurately labeled, and shipping on time to customers/distribution centers. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the shipping department, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and business success.
Full Time | 1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire | $20-24/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Final Packaging Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on, production-floor role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with repetitive tasks and working in a regulated, food-safe manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor food packaging machinery, including baggers, sealers, and labelers.
Ensure all products are packaged correctly and meet quality standards.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.
Maintain accurate records for product traceability and quality control.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines, including GMP and HACCP protocols.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience operating food packaging machinery.
Familiarity with clean, food-safe environments.
Strong understanding of SOPs, traceability, and quality control in a manufacturing setting.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
