Responsibilities Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects, driving new business development
Manage, mentor, and develop account teams while ensuring high-quality client service
Generate business revenue by expanding the scope of work with existing clients
Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking opportunities
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online media
Experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications and media relations programs
Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring a team of communications specialists
Innovative thinking with a track record of translating strategic ideas into actionable plans
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to set up measurement programs for communications activities
