Epileptologist Opportunity - Ascension Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Epileptologist to join our well-established, collegial group on Milwaukee's East Side at Ascension Columbia St. Marys Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with us in providing exceptional medical services to patients.

  • Specialty : Neurology with a subspecialty interest in Epilepsy
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • EMR System : EPIC
  • Facility : Prospect Medical Commons, Milwaukee
  • Location : Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and / or Medically Underserved Area / Population (MUA / P) Shortage Designation Type

    • Requirements :

  • Board Eligible / Board Certified in Neurology
  • Epilepsy Fellowship Trained
  • Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date (required)
  • Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required

    • Our Facility :

  • Clinic Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Patient Load : 15-20 patients per day, including outpatient, EMU, and virtual / tele-epilepsy visits
  • Support Staff : Clinic staffed with RN, RN navigator, and MA support
  • Team Environment : Join a friendly and collegial group of general neurologists, a robust neuro-hospitalist team, and neuropsychologists
  • On-site : Neurodiagnostic lab with EEG and long-term monitoring rooms, and an established Neuropsychological program
