Motor Wind Operator Impregnation

Job Description

Job Summary : Perform duties to Impregnate, Buff, Hone, and Paint a variety of high-quality stator windings per drawings and applicable documentation.

What You Will Do In The Role :

• Read and interpret assembly drawings and workstation instructions and routing process.
• Adhere to all of AMETEK's policies as called out in employee handbook.
• Maintain high quality.
• Meet department output needs (daily UPL requirements)
• Good work ethic and time management skills.
• Perform the following tasks : Impregnate, buff, hone, paint stator, and oven cure assemblies.
• Complete routing process steps.
• Report all discrepancies regarding processes or equipment to Department lead, Supervisor, or process engineer.
• Maintain (cleanliness) Paint and impregnation tank.
• Filling chemical supply cans as needed.
• Load and unload parts on rolling racks.
• Records viscosity of varnish.
• Replace charts at impregnation oven.
• Perform other related tasks as required.
