Who We're Looking to Hire
We're on the lookout for a knowledgeable and member centric Loan Processor Success Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the voice of the Credit Union by cultivating relationships and guiding members with their questions and loan needs. This is achieved through precise and professional conversations, adherence to established guidelines, and a proactive approach to educating members about our diverse suite of loan products and services.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :
- Works with members and potential members to prepare loan applications and refers completed applications to the underwriter(s) in a timely manner. Obtains accurate, updated identification and information for the applications and follows the policies and procedures of the Credit Union.
- Prepare all loans for closing and books the member's loans whenever possible to close the loan through DocuSign and in-person. Ensures the loan files have required loan documentation, confirms the documentation meets the policies and procedures placed forth by the Credit Union and that the funds are properly disbursed.
- Aggressively promotes and offers Credit Union products and services that will benefit the member as applicable. Products and services include all auxiliary products, such as GAP and Mechanical Breakdown Protection.
- Counsel members on financial matters to assist them with their financial wellbeing including, but not limited to, credit / debt management, searching for ways to save the member money, make the member money or provide security and peace of mind for the member regarding their finances. This is done by continuously educating oneself so that while speaking with members you project yourself confidently and as a subject matter expert.
- Demonstrates strong listening skills and asks questions that will ensure that the member is being offered the products and services that will best suit their needs, while not passing up opportunities to create stronger relationships with each and every member.

Six months to two years of similar or related experience; including customer service and / or sales; loan knowledge / experience a plusA GED or high school diploma is requiredThis role offers a hybrid work environment based in Farmington, MI.
