Overview

The Aviation Supervisor of Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations within an airport facility. This role ensures that all janitorial services meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with airport regulations. The supervisor will lead a team of janitorial staff, coordinate daily tasks, and liaise with airport management to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for passengers and staff.

Pay : $17.00 / hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and / or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and manage janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with airport safety regulations and industry standards.
• Oversee daily cleaning operations in terminals, restrooms, lounges, baggage areas, and other airport facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
• Coordinate with airport management and other departments to ensure janitorial needs are met.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage.
• Enforce health and safety policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and resolve any customer or passenger complaints regarding cleanliness.
• Train and mentor janitorial team members, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and performance evaluations.
