Nocturnist Physician Assistant

NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PA HOSPITALIST NOCTURNIST OPPORTUNITY NEAR ST. LOUIS, MO

Excellent opportunity for a MO licensed ACNP or PA with inpatient experience for this growing hospitalist team 45 minutes from St. Louis.

• Perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice
• Develop treatment plans
• Complete admissions from ED
• Perform dictation of H&P examinations
• Cross cover for the hospitalist team
• Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP / PA scope of practice
• Team of 14 physicians, 6 advanced practitioners, and a clinical performance nurse
• No call environment
• No code requirement
• 14-bed, co-managed ICU with 24 / 7 intensivist coverage; procedures not required
• Current, unrestricted license in MO (ACNP, ANCC, AANP). Ideally looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience
