Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work Monday through Friday day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Weekends and holidays off

    • \n

  • 1 : 2 patient ratio in recovery

    • \n

  • Must have OR circulating skills with experience in orthopedics, spine, ENT, and cosmetic procedures

    • \n

  • Required to float to all surgical centers on an as-needed basis

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including fluoroscopy, microscopes, arthroscopy equipment, ENT including Stealth, Neptunes, spine tables, and pain management tables

    • \n

  • Assist with knee and shoulder arthroscopy, ACL repair, total joint replacements, spine procedures including artificial disc replacements, fusions, laminectomies and decompressions

    • \n

  • Support podiatric and hand surgical procedures, ENT procedures including Stealth, and cosmetic procedures primarily breast augmentation

    • \n

  • Work in facility with 2 operating rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 3 pre-op bays, and 4 recovery bays

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate team player mentality with motivated but easy-going personality

    • \n

  • Ability to work effectively with surgeons and adapt to various surgical personalities required

    This ambulatory surgical center specializes in musculoskeletal procedures and offers a comprehensive range of orthopedic, spine, ENT, and cosmetic surgical services. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including brand new arthroscopic video equipment and is in the process of adding a third operating room and new sterilization equipment. The center maintains a small, dedicated team of 22 staff members who work collaboratively to provide consistent, high-quality surgical care with a predictable surgery schedule and case variety.
