Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Garde Manger to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for executing all cold kitchen preparations with consistency, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining the highest culinary and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate is organized, passionate about their craft, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for preparing and finishing all cold menu items

Accurately handling food items to minimize waste

Ability to learn, understand, and to execute daily recipes and menus

Preparing mise en place for daily service

Taking part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties

Demonstrating a passion for details and a willingness to learn

Upholding service preparation and culinary standards to ensure a memorable guest experience

Maintaining and upholding our company's vision and values

Participating in service / culinary education sessions

Maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment

Qualifications & Disposition

1–2+ years’ experience on Garde Manger (or equivalent fine / casual-fine kitchen experience)

• Must be available to work evening shifts
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and knife handling

Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills

Calm under pressure; team-first attitude; reliable and punctual

Able to work in a team environment and welcome feedback and direction

Physical Requirements

Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.

Requires fast-paced movements and occasional environmental exposure to cold, heat, and water.

Must be able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.
