A Day in the Life – Curtis, RN

Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team using the nursing process.

Key Details :

Radius : Accepts locals within 50 miles (10% bill rate reduction)

Shift : NBO 16 hrs

EMR : EPIC

Rates : OT / Holiday 1.15×, Call Back 1.5× (2 hr min), On Call $9 / hr, Charge / Precept $6 / hr

Billable OT : After 40 hrs / week (36-40 normal), 48+ hrs / week

Holidays 2025 : Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays; limited time off during 11 / 26–11 / 30 & 12 / 23–1 / 2

Floating : Across all Des Moines campuses as needed
