Job descriptionWorking towards a bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in IT, Instructional Technology, eLearning Design and Development, or a related field Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint). Eagerness to self-learn new software and technologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with audio and video editing software.
The IT Training Co-op will work closely with the Senior IT Trainer to drive software adoption and enhance the employee learning experience. This role focuses on supporting the planning, design, and development of engaging training through various delivery platforms, including in-person and virtual sessions, instructional videos, and technology articles. This hands-on opportunity will provide valuable real-world experience in training and instructional design with a collaborative IT environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting in the creation and delivery of software training.
- Developing and publishing user-friendly quick reference guides and technology-related articles.
- Conducting research on new and established software and best practices to enhance training effectiveness.
- Assist with monitoring, updating, and developing training materials as needed
- Assist with managing attendee registration and tracking
- Perform other duties as required
