Job descriptionSupport on-site service work as needed (marine vessels, customer facilities). Contribute to general shop operations : machining, assembly, inventory, receiving, and more. Follow technical manuals and service procedures. Maintain accurate daily service reports and document inspections and test results. Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE. Immediately report any incidents, injuries, or safety hazards. Complete all mandatory annual safety training. Submit accurate timecards, expenses, and job-related reports. Maintain personal tool inventory and company-issued equipment. Keep certifications up to date in line with service progression. Deliver high-quality workmanship that reflects pride and professionalism. Represent the company positively and communicate clearly with customers. Resolve questions or concerns in a timely, respectful manner. Complete assignments on time and to standard. Follow company dress code and uphold a professional demeanor at all times. High School Diploma or GED One or more of the following : Associate degree in a technical discipline 3+ years of military experience with relevant mechanical systems 3+ years of industry experience in related mechanical fields Working knowledge of diesel engines Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and written / verbal communication in English Ability to manage time under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team Hands-on work with large rotating equipment in industrial environments (marine, gas compression, nuclear). Must be able to lift 35 lbs. regularly and perform physical activities including standing, climbing, kneeling, and crawling. Requires vision acuity including close, distance, color, and depth perception.
