Forklift Operator

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated forklift operator to join our team in Fairfield, OH. This role is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for growth. The position is for the 2nd shift, working from 12pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Break down pallets and load material on carts.

Pack boxes with corresponding inventory.

Utilize pallet jacks to move material throughout the warehouse.

Operate a forklift once trained and certified with the company.

Conduct cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

Packing and packaging skills.

Ability to operate a forklift (training provided).

Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.

Proficiency in using RF scanners.

General labor skills including order picking, palletizing, stacking, labeling, loading, and material handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No previous manufacturing or warehouse experience required.

Ability to lift up to 70lbs occasionally throughout the shift.

Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Initiative to maintain productivity and a positive attitude.

Work Environment

The position is based in a cleanroom environment within a warehouse setting. You will work on the 2nd shift from 12pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday. The facility requires adherence to safety protocols and standards, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
