Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Worcester, MA 01605 Healthcare Setting : Level III / IV NICU Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : December 2, 2025 End Date : March 3, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,360 - $2,420 Patient Age Groups : Neonates, Infants Unit Size : 49 beds, average daily census of 40 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU Experience with EPIC charting system NRP certification required BLS certification required NRP Advanced and Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred Ability to pass a Telemetry exam during orientation (passing score : 80%) Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered) NICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants in a high-acuity NICU Administer blood products, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics, and antivirals Perform APGAR scoring, arterial line management, and assist with lumbar punctures Monitor blood glucose, support breastfeeding, and manage bubble CPAP and high flow nasal cannula Care for central lines, colostomy / ileostomy, and provide conscious sedation Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), and developmental care Manage respiratory distress syndrome, meconium aspiration, necrotizing enterocolitis, and neonatal sepsis Perform neonatal dosage calculations and care for neonates 29-34 weeks gestation Utilize advanced respiratory equipment (Drager, JET, HFOV) and manage ventilators (AC / PC / SIMV / CPAP / BIPAP / PEEP) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, social services, and interpretation services Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay Apply now to join our healthcare team and make a difference in neonatal nursing in Worcester, Massachusetts!
