Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Non Invasive Cardiology Locums to Perm Job in Connecticut Beginning ASAP + Ongoing for 9 Months Assignment

Schedule : 7 on and 7 off, inpatient coverage 8AM-5PM in the hospital then unrestricted call-5PM-8AM

Details / Requirements :

Inpatient APP support overnight, but MD takes first call

Non-invasive testing / nuclear stress tests / TEE during the 8A-5P shift

Reason for Coverage : retirement

Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day : Consults only - varies significantly - you have the support of APP and Fellows inhouse - approximately 25-40

Trauma Level / Designation : Level One

Total Number of Beds : STF 600 total / will be covering 25-40 with APP and fellow support

Number of ICU Beds : STF 42 total / will be covering 1-10 with fellow support

Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group : 12 in total group - noninvasive 7

Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage : Yes

Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers : Supervision of APP and Card Fellows

Patient Age Demographic : Adult and Geriatric

Documentation System / EMR : Epic

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe : Will push for ASAP but please expect min 30-60 days for credentialing

Must be local to CT - only mileage is reimbursed

Board Certified / Board Eligible

Connecticut license

ACLS

Only non-invasive cardiologists. (Strictly non-invasive work)

Echocardiograph / Transesophageal Echocardiography

Electrical Cardioversions

Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

Treadmill Stress Tests

Chemical Stress Tests

Echocardiography

Transesophageal Echocardiography
