LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601!

Pay Information

$190 to $210 per hour

About The Position

OBGYN Locums Physician, North Carolina - Call-Only Shifts

Call-only OB / GYN assignment in North Carolina near Charlotte, with flexible PRN dates through the end of 2025 and into 2026.

Highlights

  • 24-hour inpatient call; no clinic or scheduled procedures
  • Home call permitted within 30 minutes of the hospital
  • Choose your own shifts; 5 or more per month preferred
  • Emergency privileges available for faster onboarding

Practice Setting

  • 355-bed community hospital
  • 276 annual deliveries
  • Two RNs on-site for support during shifts
  • Cerner EMR system

    • Schedule

  • 24-hour call shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)
  • PRN dates available into 2026; you control your calendar
  • No in-house requirement unless needed for patient care

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Labor and delivery, OB triage, and C-sections
  • Mix of high- and low-risk pregnancies
  • No elective procedures or outpatient responsibilities

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in OB / GYN (within 5 years)
  • Active North Carolina medical license and DEA
  • BLS and ACLS required

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
