Company Overview :

We are seeking a Zscaler Engineer (Mid-Level) to support a critical U.S. government agency in Washington, DC. This role focuses on the administration, operation, and optimization of the agency's Zscaler-based Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Zscaler solutions and is comfortable working in a Microsoft-centric hybrid cloud environment.

This position is a great fit for an IT or cybersecurity professional with strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a desire to support Zero Trust and cloud security initiatives at the federal level. The SASE Administrator will work closely with senior engineers, security teams, and support staff to ensure consistent performance and policy enforcement across cloud and on-premise systems.

Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain Zscaler services, including ZIA, ZPA, SAML integrations, policy tuning, and digital experience monitoring.
• Perform day-to-day operational tasks such as policy updates, system monitoring, health checks, and issue resolution.
• Create, maintain, and improve SOPs and technical documentation related to Zscaler administration.

Monitor Zscaler dashboards and alerts to ensure service availability and user experience quality.

Qualifications

Requirements :

2–5 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise network or cloud security systems.

Clearance Requirement :

All candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Public Trust Clearance.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of three on-site days per week in Washington, DC.
