About The Position

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Nebraska, starting on Sep 15, 2025. This role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, focusing on outpatient primary care for adults, particularly those over the age of 55. This position requires handling internal medicine and geriatric cases, including well visits, physicals, and flu management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care services to adults, especially those aged 55 and above.
  • Conduct well visits, physicals, and manage flu cases.
  • Utilize CPRS EMR system to document and manage patient care.
  • Ensure continuity of care within the outpatient VA clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Additional Information

  • Board certifications in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine required.
  • Valid NE license.
  • Must possess certifications from the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support and have a DEA certification.
