Staff Management Group is seeking a Team Lead for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule :

  • 1st Shift : 6AM - 2 : 30PM
    • Pay Rate :
  • $23 / hour

Job Summary :

We’re looking for a reliable Warehouse Team Lead to help coordinate daily operations, support forklift operators, and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead by example and keep things running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities to maintain productivity and accuracy
  • Provide guidance and support to warehouse associates and forklift drivers
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure proper handling and documentation
  • Enforce safety procedures and perform regular equipment inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse
  • Assist with training new hires and cross-training team members
  • Track and report daily operational performance to warehouse management
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve issues quickly

    • Job Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Team-oriented and dependable with a proactive attitude
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
  • Comfortable working in a variety of warehouse conditions (indoor / outdoor, hot / cold)
  • Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation
