Job descriptionDesign and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans using Creative Curriculum and Reggio Emilia-inspired practices . Create a classroom culture that values exploration, creativity, and collaboration. Observe and document childrens progress, interests, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and lead small-group and large-group activities. Maintain compliance with Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies. Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and parent conferences. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required). Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children in a licensed childcare or school setting. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and / or Reggio Emilia philosophy strongly preferred. CDA (Child Development Associate) certification a plus. CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
