About The Position

Job Title : Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Description :

As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.

You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.

You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with physicians, nursing supervisors / managers, and co-workers as appropriate.

You will participate in the discharge planning process.

You must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.

You must possess current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

You must have BCLS certification.

Experience in behavioral health is preferred.

Common diagnoses include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety.

The patient population will include adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The environment involves a patient-to-nurse ratio that may vary based on unit and patient needs.

You will be expected to float to different units as needed.
