As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout an educational location. What You'll Do :

• Provide customer service to clients, faculty, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access, reporting any suspicious activities in line with Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with wayfinding and provide information or directions to students, staff, and visitors at the location.
• Document observations and incidents thoroughly and promptly, following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Work closely with campus administration and / or local law enforcement as directed, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
