Our client is currently seeking a Chemical Plant Manager!
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (mandatory)
- Experience in fermentation processes
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum 15 years of experience in Chemical, Fertilizer, or Industrial manufacturingProven leadership in Environmental, Health, and Safety programsExperience in quality management systems, cGMP / ISO preferredStrong leadership skills with experience in change managementAbility to analyze and deploy resources effectivelyProven success in achieving productive, cost-effective, and compliant resultsSuperior communication skills and experience in Lean Six Sigma is a plusAbility to undergo fit testing and wear a mask as neededResponsibilities : People Management :

Operate within approved budget spending and optimize costsReduce costs of poor quality and manage inventoriesManage inventories in partnership with Supply Chain and PlanningManage within the approved CapEx budgetSystems & Reporting :
Interface with local and state community and agencies as neededConnect effectively with key stakeholders in Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and external customersReport effectively to the company’s executive leadershipUtilize Oracle ERP systems and Excel for data analysis and reportingTrack, analyze, and report plant KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterlyEstablish departmental key performance indicators and metrics to monitor and report overall plant performance to senior management
