Digital Content Creator (part-time)

Hours : 24 hours / week

Location : Disciples Church Tinley Park, IL

Were looking for a creative storyteller who loves bringing ideas to life through digital content. As ourDigital Content Creator, youll play a key role in capturing, creating, and sharing content that helps people experience Disciples Church both online and in person.

This hybrid role combines onsite work during Sunday services and events to capture live content, with flexible onsite and remote hours during the week for editing, posting, and planning. If youre passionate about faith, creativity, and using your gifts to make an impactwed love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture engaging photos and video during Sunday services and events
  • Edit and create content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Write captions, schedule posts, and ensure content is published on time
  • Update the Disciples Church App and blog each Sunday with sermon recap / post
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team during weekly Tuesday 2pm meetings
  • Design graphics and reels that align with our brand voice
  • Research social trends and brainstorm creative ways to share the gospel
  • Organize content library and support light analytics reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong skills in photography, videography, and editing (CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools)
  • Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools
  • Creative eye for design and storytelling
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Organized and able to meet deadlines independently
  • Passion for using creativity to serve the local church and spread the gospel
