Job descriptionCovered under MRIoAs Errors and Omissions policy (traditional malpractice insurance is not applicable for review work). Work from anywhere within the United States (patient records cannot leave the U.S. due to HIPAA regulations). Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity. Board Certification in Otolaryngology. Strong computer navigation skills. Must have some daytime availability. Active, unrestricted Minnesota or Texas state medical license. U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (we are unable to sponsor a visa).

Medical Review Institute of America, LLC (MRIoA), a national Independent Review Organization (IRO), specializes in facilitating the review of medical claims to determine the appropriateness of treatments, known as Peer Review or Utilization Review.
