As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility. This post requires you to carry a firearm and respond promptly to any situations that arise, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. You will play a critical role in supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $15.90 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, addressing the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the location, while upholding a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns and / or emergencies.
  • Adhere to all site-specific, local, state, and federal regulations while performing armed patrol duties.
  • Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for emergency response situations in the healthcare setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
