About KVVU : FOX5 has expanded to 16 hours of local content daily. We are seeking a second assistant news director responsible for executing coverage on air and online, while also teaching and developing our team of producers (local and remote) and Executive Producers.

Job Summary / Description : FOX5 has grown to 16 hours of local content daily. We need a second assistant news director with primary responsibility for executing coverage on air and online, and teaching / growing our team of producers (local and remote) and EP's.

Qualifications / Requirements : Significant experience as an Executive Producer, Assistant News Director, or News Director in a professional broadcast news outlet.

This role is suited for a veteran with a background in producing, leading, and teaching a team of producers and Executive Producers.

Candidates must demonstrate a track record of outstanding newscast production, innovation in executing a vision, and leadership / mentorship skills.
